Linda
presently teaches Outdoor and Experiential Education at Bishop Strachan
School in Toronto, which often involves taking students into Algonquin
Park on wilderness trips. Her deep and abiding interest in the Park stems
from a 20-year association with Camp Wapomeo, in addition to the long-term
rental of a cabin on Smoke Lake.

Linda
is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education. Her thesis is entitled
“The Role of Wilderness Travel in the Curriculum”, and may very well prove
to be a cornerstone in the field of Outdoor Education. |
| We
welcome Linda to the Board of Directors as an avid outdoors enthusiast,
an educator, a Park “resident”, and someone else who can represent the concerns
of Southern Ontario. |
